Heavy Metal Royalty Return

English heavy metal band, Iron Maiden, returned down under for the first time since 2016, and they did not disappoint! Bringing the Future Past Tour to RAC Arena on the 1st, they kicked the month off with high energy, performing songs from the band’s most recent studio album Senjutsu, as well as other fan favourites.

Hoops History

Across four huge days, Perth hosted the inaugural HoopsFest! A first of its kind, the weekend featured all the NBL and WNBL teams together in the same place at the same time. Additionally, a Cygnett WNBL Tournament, the U18 Australian Club Championships, Sneakerland Exhibition, plus Hayden James and Slumberjack played their hits on a multi-levelled courtside ‘Boombox.

Thank you to everyone who came making the weekend so memorable!

NBL25 Season Kicks Off

The Perth Wildcats returned to the jungle on the 27th, battling it out against the Sydney Kings. In what was a nail-biting last quarter, it sadly saw the Wildcats fall one-point shy of the win. The next Friday night home game will be October 25th, where the Wildcats will again face the Sydney Kings.

Keeping the energy high and wrapping up the month was Parkway Drive. The Australian metalcore band hit the stage on the 30th for their huge 20 Year Anniversary Tour, alongside special guests, I Prevail. The Ghost Inside and Void of Vision.
