Finals Fun
At the end of the 2023-24 NBL season, it was confirmed that the beloved Perth Wildcats had sealed their spot at second place on the ladder, which meant they will be returning to The Jungle in March to do battle in the playoffs.
Currently, the Wildcats have only locked in an appearance on their home deck on Friday March 8th, however, there is the possibility of additional games being added on later in the month depending on how the results play out. Watch this space, Red Army.
Blast from the Past!
We wound back the clock, dusted off our favourite 90’s and noughties kits and partied it up with the incredible blink-182 across back-to-back nights, then followed it up with a performance from Matchbox Twenty and the Goo Goo Dolls a few days later. Each of three events were sold out and gave a lot of long-time Perth fans plenty to smile (and sing) about. Come back soon!
See what we’ve been cooking up
Ever wondered what it’s like in the RAC Arena kitchen during a sold-out concert? In February, our talented team took Simon Collins from The West Australian behind the scenes to see how we prepare and operated for one of the sold-out blink-182 concerts. Simon got to chat with our executive chef, Paul Beard, and consulting chef, Stephen Clarke, about everything to do with cooking in our concessions to up at suite level. Up All Night for all the right reasons
We would like to congratulate six of our amazing team members pictured below, who participated in the Up All Night walk on the February 24th to 25th weekend to help raise money and awareness for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Australia. All six members walked 42.2 kilometres across the night and the final donation tally from team RAC Arena was $4,293. This is a fantastic effort and every one of us couldn’t be prouder.
