Perth Arena has been named WA’s Venue Caterer of the Year at the 2017 WA Restaurant & Catering Awards for Excellence.
The Awards for Excellence is a nationally recognised, independently judged awards program that celebrates exceptional service and culinary talent across WA.
This is the second year Perth Arena has been awarded the coveted title after being named Venue Caterer of the Year in 2016.
The awards are judged by an independent team of trained judges who attend a corporate event at the nominated venue. The judges look at all aspects of service to determine the winners based on a set of chosen selection criteria. Perth Arena was judged at a corporate event held for Nova Entertainment in June.
The venue hosts hundreds of corporate functions each year and delivers a tailored dining experience for each event, receiving high praise from event organisers and guests alike.
General Manager of Perth Arena, Michael Scott said a win like this is a testament to the dedication of the team at the venue.
“To be recognised for the high standard of service we set for ourselves is an absolutely brilliant achievement,” Mr. Scott said.
“It is our aim to make each and every event exceptional and deliver that something special”.
R&CA CEO Juliana Payne congratulated each of the finalists and winners of the Awards in Western Australia on behalf of the Association.
“As we have seen year after year, the Awards for Excellence is such a wonderful opportunity to properly recognise the shining lights of our industry and give many businesses owners the thanks and respect they deserve,” Ms. Payne said.
