The 2016 Perth Arena Golden Ticket has been drawn and the winner is Ben from South Perth! This year’s Golden Ticket raffle has raised $71,710 with all proceeds supporting Perth Arena Community Partner Breast Cancer Care WA.
The lucky winner has won the ultimate prize of two tickets to each event at Perth Arena for the next 12 months, including tickets to events such as Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Dynamo, Flume, Green Day, The Wiggles, Amy Schumer, Perth Wildcats and the Hopman Cup.
Launched in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this year’s raffle supported local charity Breast Cancer Care WA, who provide breast care nursing, counselling and financial support for Western Australians affected by breast cancer.
Breast Cancer Care WA General Manager Jillian Shiels explained how vital these funds are.
“We can’t thank Perth Arena enough for their generosity and support .The Golden Ticket is such an incredible prize and the funds raised will ensure we can continue to provide free of charge support to Western Australians affected by breast cancer,” Ms Shiels said.
“It is only thanks to the generosity of the community that Breast Cancer Care WA can continue to help over 1,000 women and their families every year,” she said.
Perth Arena General Manager Michael Scott said they are thrilled that so many Western Australians have supported Breast Cancer Care WA through this year’s Golden Ticket.
“We are excited to see the funds raised from this year’s Golden Ticket going to Breast Cancer Care WA to continue the amazing work they do for Western Australians affected by breast cancer,” Mr Scott said.
“In its fifth year, The Golden Ticket continues to be a fantastic opportunity for our fans to support our local community and for another lucky winner to be treated to a full year of entertainment.”
Breast Cancer Care is a Community Partner of Perth Arena and receives support in a number of ways, including through the 2016 Perth Arena Golden Ticket raffle.
