Doing our part for the WA community!
As part of ASM Global’s Acts initiative, and in consultation with RAC Arena staff, the venue has teamed up with eight local charities to do our part for the WA community.
The program includes one top tier partner, two second tier, and five third tier partners, who we support in a range of ways including regular donations and volunteering.
We are proud to be able to partner with these wonderful organisations, while they serve the people of WA.
Telethon
Established in 1968, generations of West Australians have grown up with Telethon and through their generosity have had a major impact on some of the life threatening diseases that face our children.
Funds raised through Telethon have supported medical research into childhood diseases, provided equipment, critical services and life-changing opportunities for sick, disadvantaged and vulnerable children.
The Salvation Army WA
The Salvation Army Australia offers a number of services including homelessness support and accommodation programmes, alcohol and other drug crisis intervention, support for women facing family and domestic violence, just to name a few.
Ronald McDonald House Charities WA
Ronald McDonald House Charities WA plays a unique role in enabling, facilitating, and supporting family-centred care within the Western Australian child and adolescent health system.
Autism Association of Western Australia
The Autism Association of WA provides services to people with autism. The venue’s quiet room was designed in collaboration with the association to provide a safe space for anyone experiencing a sensory overload at our events. It’s located on level 1, opposite door 17.
Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre
Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre is a specialist wildlife centre located in Perth, Western Australia, dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of sick and injured wild native black cockatoos. They are the only facility dedicated to the conservation and rehabilitation of black cockatoos in Australia.
Lifeline WA
Lifeline is Australia’s leading suicide prevention service which includes 24 hour crisis support.
Polly Farmer Foundation
The Polly Farmer Foundation supports indigenous students through academic enrichment programs.
West Australian Music (WAM)
Western Australia’s peak music body, WAM’s mission is to cultivate and elevate the value of WA’s unique and diverse soundtrack for the benefit and enrichment of the artform and the community.
